Lou's Little Language Library Brand Identity
A brand identity for a children-oriented charity aimed at providing free books for children from diverse background.
The challenge:
Wild Flowers of London, an established small team of independent marketing and creative professionals committed to supporting founders and entrepreneurs to bring their brands to market authentically and ethically, entrusted me with the creation of a brand for its subsidiary, Lou's Little Language Library, a charitable service aimed at supporting education among children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The approach:
The idea at the core of this identity was to promote a children-friendly, fun service to provide free books to all kids and young adults in South East London. I opted for delicate colours and a playful font brought together by custom illustrations to communicate a youthful brand that users can relate to.
The branding work included the design of logo in a variety of formats, colour palette, brand guidelines, stationery and banners.
